If it weren’t for the shape of the seat, the chair wouldn’t stack, but it does. And it can be practical to arrange the chairs in a bouquet if, for instance, you are cleaning. The collaboration with Storängen and their manufacturer has resulted in a stackable chair that is also collaborating with itself.


The chair is a carefully considered compromise cultivated from a network of decisions: if one angle is reduced another is increased. If the back plate is moved backwards, a back leg is pushed to the side — a battlefield of sticks. When the sticks reach an agreement the chair is fully grown. Valid compromises built this chair.
